About PMA

Pune Management Association (PMA) was established in 1972 with the prime objective 'To cultivate scientific attitude towards contemporary management ideas, principles and practices'.

PMA is India's premier Management Association, established in 1972 as an independent Trust and Public Organization. It was founded by Late Padmabhushan S.L. Kirloskar, Mr. V.S.Vaidya (Swastik Group),Late Mr. C.S.Kirloskar (Kirloskar Group), Dr. N.A. Kalyani (Kalyani Group) and Late Mr. C.V.Jog (Bank of Maharashtra).

 

PMA is a Local Management Association (LMA) of All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi, focuses on providing a wide range of services, to improve the standards of Management Practices in India. PMA organizes conferences, seminars  relevant training programs / lectures, arranging discussion, meetings where experiences are shared, sponsoring specific research projects, forming study -groups, PMA also disseminates information through 'PMA Review' an e-Management Journal. PMA has its own library and training hall facility centrally located at Pune.

 

PMA offers Management Development Programs and customized in company training programs to meet organization - specific needs for performance enhancement. Over the years PMA has trained thousands of aspiring managers and entrepreneurs from western part of India.


PMA has received a runner-up 'Best LMA Award' in 2011
