PROGRAMME OVERVIEW :

Today AIMA-CME offers various programmes to suit the requirements at different levels of management. They are divided into four main categories as below:

POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT (PGP)

The PGDM is the most sought after programme of AIMA-CME. It is being offered since 1993 and is widely acclaimed for its strong curriculum in the industry and academic circles. It is designed not only to impart the knowledge of core subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Finance and Marketing but also lays special stress on developing skills and competencies through exposure to real business situations in the form of case studies. AIMA leverages its close linkages with the industry to assess emerging needs and factor them on to its programmes. The latest and updated PGDM curriculum has been launched from July 2007.

POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT (PGDITM)

A major new initiative of AIMA-CME was the launch of one-of-its kind PGDITM programme in 1994. It was also the first programme to be approved by AICTE combining the best of both Management and Information Technology (IT). Since then the course has gone through major revisions in 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004 so as to maintain its lead as the most contemporary course addressing management tasks in the IT sector.

POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATE in MANAGEMENT (PGCM)


The Post Graduate Certificate Programmes are targeted at working people who want to enhance their knowledge base.

SIX MONTH ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN MANAGEMENT (ACM)

The Advanced Certificate Programmes, in contemporary areas of management, are of short duration to meet the knowledge up gradation needs of working managers / professionals.

IN-COMPANY PROGRAMMES

The aim of in-company programmes of AIMA-CME is to contribute towards corporate excellence. These programmes are designed keeping in view the specific needs of the organization.

The focused and highly customized in-company programmes aim at accomplishing the training strategies of the organization through the mix of training methodologies. It helps the employees to develop and appreciate.

The programme is customized according to the needs of the organization. AIMA intervention may range from training need analysis to evaluating training effectiveness. An analysis may be conducted in order to assess the needs in terms of weaknesses and strengths, accordingly the course is structured and delivered.
